What does "Singapore" and "Europe" quality mean?

These are standard international trade terms for cumin purity. "Singapore Quality" generally refers to 98% to 99% purity (machine cleaned), suitable for most global markets. "Europe Quality" refers to stricter 99% to 99.5% purity (often double machine cleaned and sortexed) with very low foreign matter, designed for strict European and US regulations.

How do you handle EtO (Ethylene Oxide) regulations for the EU market?

We do not use Ethylene Oxide for sterilization, as it is banned in the EU. For European buyers requiring sterilized spices, we use steam sterilization. This effectively kills pathogens (like Salmonella) while keeping the product completely EtO-free.

Is your cumin powder ground at high temperatures?

Standard cumin powder is ground in hammer mills, but we also offer premium low-temperature grinding. Cumin's value lies in its volatile oil (which provides its aroma). High heat destroys this oil. Low-temperature grinding ensures the maximum retention of cuminaldehyde and other aromatic compounds.
