Whole Spices
Designed for repackers, food processors, and extractors. Whole spices offer significantly extended shelf life and visible purity. We supply machine-cleaned and double-sortexed grades of Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Chilli, and Fennel.
Key Whole-Form Export Grades
Whole spices are primarily graded on physical appearance — size (boldness), wholeness, colour, and cleanliness (machine vs hand cleaned). Below is a summary of our primary whole-spice export SKUs.
Safety, Purity & Potency
While whole spices are graded primarily on physical traits, they are not exempt from strict safety limits. Our NABL-accredited COAs for whole spices include potency tests (oil/curcumin) and mandatory safety screens.
Bulk Export Formats
Container Load (20-ft FCL): Cumin/Coriander ~17–18 MT · Turmeric/Chilli ~14–15 MT.
Can I combine multiple whole spices in a single container?
Yes. We frequently pack mixed FCLs (Full Container Loads) for importers and distributors. You can mix cumin, coriander, turmeric, chilli, and others to meet the 5 MT minimum or fill a 20-ft container.
Do whole spices need to meet EtO and pesticide limits?
Absolutely. While adulteration is harder with whole spices, they are still agricultural products subject to the same strict safety limits (Pesticides, Aflatoxin, EtO) as powders. We test every whole spice lot to ensure it meets destination regulations.
Why should I buy whole spices instead of ground?
Whole spices offer significantly longer shelf life because their essential oils are protected within the seed or rhizome structure. Once ground, oxidation accelerates rapidly. For buyers with long transit times or unpredictable inventory cycles, whole spices are a much safer purchase.
We can send a sample kit containing multiple whole spices (Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Chilli) with full COAs for buyer qualification.
